Software License Agreement
Effective Date: March 1, 2026
This Software License Agreement governs your download, installation, and use of Intel, the Competitive Intelligence Agent sold by Khan AI.
By installing or using Intel, you agree to this Agreement.
1. License grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement and the Terms of Service, Khan AI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use Intel for your own internal business purposes.
Unless a purchase page or written agreement says otherwise, one purchase permits use by one business on devices reasonably used by that business.
2. What you may do
You may:
- Install Intel for your business.
- Configure Intel with your business information.
- Use Intel to analyze public review data.
- Generate reports for your internal business use.
- Use report insights to make business decisions.
- Keep backup copies reasonably needed for your own use.
3. What you may not do
You may not:
- Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, share, publish, or redistribute Intel.
- Offer Intel as a hosted, managed, or white-labeled service without written permission.
- Use Intel to build or train a competing product or service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code except where allowed by law.
- Remove copyright, license, attribution, or proprietary notices.
- Bypass licensing, payment, update, or access controls.
- Use Intel for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful purposes.
- Share install links, private repositories, license codes, or paid materials with unauthorized users.
4. Ownership
Khan AI retains all rights, title, and interest in Intel, including software, workflows, prompts, documentation, branding, templates, reports formats, and related materials.
This Agreement gives you a license to use Intel. It does not transfer ownership.
5. Open-source and third-party components
Intel may include or depend on open-source software, package managers, operating system tools, AI providers, search providers, review platforms, or other third-party services. Those components may be governed by separate licenses or terms.
Nothing in this Agreement limits your rights under applicable open-source licenses.
6. Updates
Khan AI may provide updates, patches, fixes, or improvements. Updates are not guaranteed unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
An update may change features, dependencies, behavior, compatibility, or supported providers.
7. API keys and local data
You are responsible for your own AI API keys, usage costs, provider terms, and local device security. Khan AI is not responsible for charges from your AI provider or for unauthorized use of your API keys.
8. No warranty
Intel is provided "as is" and "as available." Khan AI does not warrant that Intel will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every system, or able to access every public review source.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Khan AI's liability related to Intel will not exceed the amount you paid for Intel. Khan AI will not be liable for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, reputational harm, third-party service failures, inaccurate outputs, or consequential damages.
10. Termination
This license terminates automatically if you violate this Agreement. Upon termination, you must stop using Intel and delete unauthorized copies.
